• INTRODUCTIONS & HAPPY SNACKS (Happy New Rotary Year!)

1. 1. “What is your million-dollar idea, and do you think it is feasible?”

• Port Moody Ribfest (July 19-21), Langley Ribfest (August 16-18)

1. 1. Interest in doing Langley at all? NO
   2. Most members have signed up for shifts 

• Gala (Update from Thomas)

1. 1. General consensus 
   2. Winter gala hosted by Mission Rotary clubs
   3. Maybe only having three people attend then having the club sponsor it 
   4. As many silent auction items as we want 
      1. Hair care package, lawn package, air bnb, dog stay, 
   5. Lottery board, roulette wheel 

• Dues 

1. 1. Dues are covered for this year, but we will be asking for them in January 
      1. Happy Snacks: $10
      2. RI charges $10.80 CAD
      3. Shirt/Pin/Certificate: $15
      4. Social events: $10
   2. Total for new members: $45; Total for existing: $30
   3. Can have an installation around this time as well!

• July 18 Garbage clean up (replace social?)

1. 1. MESS x HUBco x Mission Downtown Business Association Pick n’ Pub on Thursday July 18th from 5:30-8:30pm

• Rotary International Conference Calgary

1. 1. 1. June 21-25, 2025
      2. Current price for under 30 is $150 USD until December 31
      3. Could all book/travel together

• Anyone have any ideas for future service projects (maybe in place of socials?)

1. 1. Wanting speakers?
   2. Wanting to do activities during meetings?
   3. This year is what we make it, we can do anything we want!
