Ansh Sharda
Howdy folks! My name is Ansh, rhymes with Ranch, it’s lovely to say I am the President of the Rotaract club this year. This is my second year as a member for RCFV, I joined the club in 2024 after attending RYLA. I’ve been involved with YAIL, RYLA and the Langley Rotaract club. My hobbies outside of rotary and volunteering include camping, hiking, and film. I love learning random things and I’m referred to in my family as ‘Google’ so if you have any questions, ask away.

After attending RYLA in 2023, I knew that Rotary was an organization I wanted to be involved in. My newfound passion for service led me to become a member of the Rotaract Club of the Fraser Valley, where I have served terms as both President and Secretary. Professionally, I am working toward a career in Human Resources Management, a path heavily influenced by my life-changing experience at RYLA. Outside of Rotary, I enjoy reading, watching true crime, and spending time with my dog, Betty.

I joined the Rotaract Club of the Fraser Valley after being inspired by the energy, connection, and community spirit of Rotary and RYLA. Since joining, I’ve been involved in helping the club grow its projects, organize fundraisers, and build better systems behind the scenes. I currently serve as Treasurer and enjoy using my technical background to make volunteering easier, more organized, and more impactful.
Professionally, I work in software implementation and technical consulting, where I help people and organizations solve problems with technology. Outside of work and Rotaract, I enjoy learning new things, working on community-minded ideas, making websites, trying new foods and fun drinks, and spending time with my wife and our twins, Nova and Leo.
