Why Rotaract? What’s the difference?
ROTARACT
● Young Adults age 18+
● Aims to develop leadership skills, promote local
community service, and provide networking
opportunities for young professionals
● Sponsored by Rotary Clubs but operate
independently of them with own leadership and
processes
● Open to young adults of all educational and
professional backgrounds (usually students or
recent graduates)
● No large obligation to participate. Members can
join their club whenever and however they wish
ROTARY
● Adults age 30+
● Focuses on community service, international
humanitarian efforts, and promoting ethical
standards in business and the professional world
● Formal structure with elected officials and
committees
● Members are usually professionals and leaders in
the community
● Membership involves large commitment
Maybe we are not so different…
What do we want 2025 to look like?
