Behind the Logo(s):

Rooted in the Fraser Valley, our club is proud to be surrounded by the beautiful landscapes that form it. We felt our logo should encompass different aspects of the Valley, while having a reputable and dominant look. We enlisted then UFV Graphic Design student, Emily McLean, to help us with our logo creation. Emily was able to take our ideas and transform it into our current logo. The green represents the rich nature found throughout the Fraser Valley while the blue represents the rivers that flow through it. The mountains represent the breathtaking mountains that surround us, always in view. The elements together show the beautifulness of the Valley and why we are so fortunate to call it home.  

You may see a pink logo from time to time… why? In the spring of 2015, Rotary International launched its rebranded identity, including Rotaract and Interact. The refreshed logo is a way for those unfamiliar with Rotary to understand that Rotaract is a proud ‘Club Partner’. The Rotary name goes a long way, so having it attached to the Rotaract logo allows for a more pronounced presence. 

About Us

The Rotaract Club of the Fraser Valley (RCFV) evolved from a group individuals who attended RYLA in 2014. Their desire to take what they had received from RYLA and become spark plugs in their communities was just the beginning. After several information sessions held in Mission and Abbotsford on what Rotaract was, future members were hooked on the idea of forming the club. Supported by five Rotary clubs within the Fraser Valley, RCFV became official on July 10, 2014.
